Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland, representing Washington's 10th district, has recently expressed concerns regarding national security and the conduct of public officials through a series of tweets. Strickland, who has been serving in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Denny Heck, voiced her opinions on social media.

On March 25, 2025, Strickland commented on a situation involving the Chief Political Analyst at Fox News. She stated, "When the Chief Political Analyst at Fox News calls you out for lying. Blind loyalty over competence is a national security risk." This tweet was directed towards certain government officials tagged in her post.

Later that day, she provided information about an opportunity for constituents to engage with her office. At 6 PM, people were invited to join by calling a specified number: "You can call 855-962-1508 at 6pm to join!"

In another post on March 25, Strickland reiterated her stance on national security issues involving Secretary of Defense Hegseth. She asserted that his actions posed risks due to breaches of classified information: "I sounded the alarm last December. @SecDef Hegseth's lies and incompetence were on full display with his breach of classified information. He remains a national security risk and must resign."
