Marilyn Strickland, the U.S. Congresswoman representing Washington's 10th district, has recently addressed several issues through her social media platform. In a series of tweets, she discusses topics ranging from military housing to government incompetence and Social Security.

On March 24, 2025, Strickland highlighted the challenges faced by servicemembers at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) due to a shortage in military housing. She emphasized her commitment to resolving this issue by stating: "It's very clear that there is a military housing crunch, and our servicemembers at @JBLM_PAO are feeling it in the #SouthSound. My priority is bringing results home, and that includes bringing affordable housing options for those who serve."

Later that day, Strickland expressed criticism towards top officials under President Biden's administration. She tweeted: "And these are @POTUS' top people. Just reckless and dangerous while holding positions of power. The incompetence is loud." This tweet reflects her concerns regarding what she perceives as inefficiencies within the current administration.

In another post on March 24, 2025, Strickland invited constituents to participate in a telephone town hall scheduled for March 25. The event features former Social Security Commissioner Martin O'Malley as a guest speaker. She stated: "Join me on Tuesday, March 25 for my telephone townhall with former Social Security Commissioner @martinomalley. We'll be discussing #SocialSecurity and what's happening in the #SouthSound."
