Mason County recorded an unemployment rate of 6.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,753 people out of the 64,964 living in Mason County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Mason County has remained fairly stable compared to the 6.3% registered in 2020.
