Commissioners seek volunteers for Citizens Budget Committee

Have you ever wanted to learn more about Lewis County's budget-setting process? Well here's your chance.

The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is seeking Lewis County residents interested in serving on the Citizens Budget Committee to provide input and guidance as the county sets its 2023 budget.

The BOCC is seeking one or two volunteers from each of the county’s three commissioner districts to serve on the Citizens Budget Committee.

To apply, please submit an application and a letter of interest to Rieva Lester, Clerk of the Board, in one of the following three ways:

  • By mail at 351 N.W. North St., Chehalis, WA 98532.
  • Via email at committees@lewiscountywa.gov (please include "Budget" in the subject line).
  • In person at the Commissioners’ Office on the second floor of the historic courthouse, 351 N.W. North Street.
The deadline to apply is 3 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022.
