The nightly closures of State Route 6 and Stearns Road have been postponed. No new dates for construction activities have been announced.

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission with cooperation from the Washington State Department of Transportation will begin construction of a new Willapa Hills Trail overpass at State Route 6 beginning Monday.

Lewis County Public Works reports that the project will cause the temporary closure of Stearns Road at highway 6, to through traffic, from approximately 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Dec. 5-8, 2022 and Jan. 3-6, 2023. Alternate routes will be available.
