Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland, who has been representing Washington’s 10th district since 2021, recently shared several updates on social media. Strickland's posts cover topics ranging from community recognition during Women's History Month to significant developments involving tribal partnerships and local port activities.

On March 17, 2025, Strickland highlighted the contributions of Kia Thompson in a tweet recognizing her for Women's History Month. "It's #WomensHistoryMonth and I'm recognizing Kia Thompson. As the Program Coordinator with @teamstepusa and as the Second VP of the Spouses' Club of Lewis-McChord, Kia continues to serve her community."

The following day, March 18, 2025, Strickland expressed gratitude towards the Puyallup Tribe and Seaport Northwest for including her in an important event. "Land is history, economic opportunity, and identity. Thank you, @puyallup_tribe and @seaportNW, for inviting me to this historic moment. I will always work to uplift our Tribal Partners."

Later on March 18, she encouraged followers to stay informed about upcoming developments at the Port of Tacoma by sharing a link for further information. "Learn more about what's coming to the @PortofTacoma:"
