Of the 290,642 citizens living in Thurston County in 2021, 78.5% were old enough to vote, equating to 228,211 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 110,803 were male, constituting 48.6%, and 117,408 were female, making up 51.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Thurston County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.9%.
