The City of Centralia Public Works Department is improving the sidewalk access ramps along Harrison Avenue from High Street to Main Street. This project includes the removal and replacement of sidewalk access ramps and installation of pedestrian push buttons. Construction on Harrison Avenue from High Street to Main Street is currently scheduled to begin November 29, 2022 and continue for a few weeks. The Contractor, Western United Civil Group LLC, will be closing one lane of travel on Harrison Avenue during active work and maintaining at least one travel lane in each direction. Thru traffic is advised to use alternate routes to minimize congestion during active work. The City and Western United Civil Group, LLC will work closely with area residents and businesses to minimize impacts during construction.
