Join the City's New Financial Sustainability Task Force

Are you interested in assisting the City to spend public dollars effectively? Consider joining the City of Shelton’s new

Financial Sustainability Task Force!

The Task Force will be comprised of 5-7 individuals who will work directly with City leadership to develop a long-term,

sustainable City budget. The Task Force will meet for two hours per month for six months, with the first meeting planned for

January 2023.

To apply, please email City Manager Jeff Niten at jeff.niten@sheltonwa.gov by Friday, December 16. Those with a finance

background are highly encouraged to express their interest.

The City Council has listed “Clearly Define the Future” and “Engage the Community” as part of their 2022-2025 Strategic

Goals.  Task Force members will have a unique opportunity to directly impact City operations, assist with long-term planning,

and provide valuable feedback.
