Complete Burn Ban placed in Mason County in concern with Washington State Department of Natural Resources

Due to the National Fire Danger Rating System changing in Shelton to "Very High Fire Danger", a complete county-wide outdoor burn ban will take effecte Saturday, September 10,

2022, at 12:01 AM until further notice. All outdoor burning including recreational fires and charcoal will be banned until further notice in Mason County and the City of Shelton.

Propane fueled equipment and pellet grills will remain legal during this time.

Burning of debris and fireworks discharge within the Shelton City limits is always prohibited! For more information, please visit the City of Shelton’s Burn Information Page
