Olivia Coverdale, known as Liv, is set to graduate from Pacific Lutheran University with magna cum laude honors on Saturday, May 28.
At just 16 years old, Coverdale will be the youngest female to graduate in PLU’s 132-year history.
She will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a minor in business administration, stated a news release.
“I have so many things I want to do and now I have some time to do them. College was an overall great experience,” Coverdale stated in a news release from PLU. “I had excellent professors and made some very good friends with whom I hope to stay in touch. I am very appreciative of all of the opportunities I have been given.”
At the age of 11, Coverdale attended South Puget Sound Community College in Lacey to take part in the state’s Running Start program. This allowed Coverdale to get a major jump start on her college education by attending SPSCC while at an elementary age.
