Mason Conservation District issued the following announcement on February 15.
Mason Conservation District has the opportunity to install a limited number of rain gardens in the City of Shelton this spring! Rain Gardens increase water infiltration and reduce flooding and erosion in streams.
Mason CD will design and install rain gardens in your neighborhood, with a landowner contribution of only $50 toward the cost of the plants. Applications will be accepted until March 11, 2022, and sites will be evaluated based on accessibility and topography.
