Yelm Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 24
One of the things that the Yelm Chamber really wanted to do when COVID-19 forced shutdowns of local businesses was help. We offered resources to our members, connected them to federal and state grants, but wanted to do more. Thanks to those who selflessly love Yelm, we are able to, today, launch this grant program.
We created a taskforce charged with selling certificates to fund these grants, and a local business created shirts, with a portion of each sale going to grants as well.

Grant applications are due July 10th and recipients will be notified July 16th.
