Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland, who has been representing Washington’s 10th district since 2021, recently shared several updates on social media. Strickland’s posts cover topics ranging from community recognition during Women’s History Month to significant developments involving tribal partnerships and local port activities.

On March 17, 2025, Strickland highlighted the contributions of Kia Thompson in a tweet recognizing her for Women’s History Month. “It’s #WomensHistoryMonth and I’m recognizing Kia Thompson. As the Program Coordinator with @teamstepusa and as the Second VP of the Spouses’ Club of Lewis-McChord, Kia continues to serve her community.”
