Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland, representing Washington’s 10th district, has taken to social media to express her concerns over recent developments involving Elon Musk. In a series of tweets, she addresses issues related to Musk’s influence and actions affecting federal workers and the governance of the United States.

On February 6, 2025, Congresswoman Strickland tweeted about Elon Musk having access to social security data. She stated: “Unelected President @elonmusk now has full access to your social security data. @HouseDemocrats are introducing legislation to block Musk’s out-of-control power grab.”

The following day, on February 7, 2025, she highlighted the impact on federal workers in Washington state: “There are over 56k federal workers in Washington – most of who live in #WA10. Unelected President @ElonMusk is trying to push working Americans out of their jobs. Don’t let him.”

Later that same day, Strickland questioned Musk’s role in American politics and criticized members of the House GOP: “The real @POTUS? @ElonMusk, who was not chosen by the American people. And EVERY Member of @HouseGOP is OK with this. Every. Last. One.”
