Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland has recently highlighted her efforts to secure federal investments for local infrastructure projects in Washington state, according to a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).
On August 28, 2025, Strickland posted: “Everyone deserves to walk around their community safely. That’s why I’m working to bring more pedestrian crossings, wider sidewalks, and more traffic signs to @PuyallupGov’s Meeker Street and growing downtown area.
I will always advocate for federal investments that https://t.co/MbqcU2CjrK“.
Two days later, on August 30, she shared another update regarding a local infrastructure project: “It was great to be back with @ThurstonCounty to celebrate the re-opening of the bridge over Green Cove Creek at Country Club Road, and the restoration of the fish passage.
It took a community effort to get this project done – proud to have brought $875K in federal funding to https://t.co/yAzMo49lV9″.
A subsequent post on the same day included a link labeled simply as “Read:” followed by two URLs: “Read: https://t.co/zMAdqKWQzR https://t.co/3paQhWierC”.
