She announced securing funding for over 200 additional housing units at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), stating “In Congress, one of my biggest priorities is to make sure our servicemembers and their families have access to safe and affordable housing.”

Strickland highlighted its role in expanding healthcare coverage through Apple Health and Medicare.
