On February 19, Congresswoman Strickland announced her intention to introduce legislation recognizing the legacy of Buffalo Soldiers. “For nearly 90 years, 40k Buffalo Soldiers fought to protect our freedoms and ideals, even as they faced discrimination as Black Americans. Today, I’m introducing legislation to honor their legacy.”
