Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland has recently highlighted her efforts to secure federal funding for local projects and voiced support for reproductive healthcare providers in a series of posts on her official social media account.

On March 9, 2026, Strickland announced the allocation of funds to the city of Puyallup, stating, “Proud to deliver $850k to @PuyallupGov to help bring their Meeker Festival Street project to life and #deliverfortheSouthSound.” Later that day, she reiterated her commitment by posting, “Revitalizing the Meeker Festival Street is a smart investment that will help make @PuyallupGov more safe, attractive, and vibrant. The following day, Strickland addressed another policy area by recognizing healthcare professionals who provide abortion services.
