It is almost December, which means we have some great weekend events coming up to kick off the holiday season!

Holiday Magic 2022, organized by Kristmas Town Kiwanis, is happening this Friday, December 2, and Saturday, December 3. There are a couple of road closures to keep in mind for these events:

Friday, December 2 (3:30 – 9:30 p.m.): Railroad Avenue between 2nd and 5th Streets, 2nd Street between Railroad and Franklin Streets

Saturday, December 3 (3 – 9 p.m.): Railroad Avenue between 1st and 7th Streets, 2nd – 4th Streets between Franklin and Cota, 5th between Franklin (halfway) and Cota, and 6th between Railroad and Franklin

As always with special events, please note that the road closure times are often different from the event times to give event organizers time for set-up and takedown.

Also, the illuminated tree maze will be up and running this weekend (and throughout the month) at 218 South 5th Street. There aren’t any road closures associated with the maze, but there will be an increase in traffic downtown as people check out the maze and all the other festivities.

Thank you to all the volunteers who have worked tirelessly to organize all of these great events! This is going to be a jam-packed month, and you can find more information about a lot of these events at either christmastownwa.org or masonchamber.com/christmastown.
