Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland has recently used her social media platform to criticize the current presidential administration and highlight ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking.

On January 13, 2026, Strickland posted, “.@POTUS, @Sec_Noem – this entire Administration refuses to take accountability. Their recklessness is killing Americans. READ: https://t.co/D3bP72Nj9q https://t.co/N4KzoKU90c”.

The following day, she reiterated her concerns regarding the administration’s actions in a separate post on January 14, 2026: “.@POTUS and his Administration need to be accountable for the chaos they have caused for the American people.   https://t.co/dwYP6hSVfD”.

Shifting focus on January 15, 2026, Strickland addressed the issue of human trafficking awareness: “For over 15 years, January has marked Human Trafficking Prevention Month. Teams like @Delta’s Frontline Crew are critical in combatting human trafficking, aiding victims, and supporting survivors.  It’s time to #EndHumanTrafficking https://t.co/X7GTpPLlYO”.

Marilyn Strickland was elected as a Republican representative to North Carolina’s State House in 2017 for the state’s 28th House district after James Langdon Jr., according to public records.
